By John Marvin, as told to Don Loving JIMANI, Dominican Republic — The first thing I stress to people about the situation in Haiti is no matter how many pictures you’ve seen on the news from the earthquake, they don’t begin to tell the story of the true devastation here. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but I can tell you in just a handful of words that things are much worse here than you can possibly imagine.
