George Fox announces Act Six scholars for ’13

George Fox University announced it will welcome seven new students in 2013 as part of its Act Six Leadership and Scholarship Initiative.
The students, all of whom are from the Portland area, were chosen for their distinctive leadership, academic potential and commitment to making a difference in their communities.

As has become customary, the eighth-grade class at Veritas School will travel to Washington, D.C., in April to spend a week touring and learning about historical sites such as the United States Capitol, the National Cathedral, the Smithsonian, the Supreme Court, Ford Theater, Arlington Cemetery and others.
