    Tyler Francke is a native of Henderson, Ky., who graduated from the University of Maine in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. He spent a year and a half working as a reporter and photographer for the Branson Tri-Lakes News in Branson, Mo., before moving to Oregon with his wife. He joined the staff of The Newberg Graphic in 2012.
   
      Seth Gordon, the newest member of the Graphic staff, joined in March 2010 as sports editor. An Ann Arbor, Mich. native, he graduated from University of Michigan in 2005 and worked for four years as a sports reporter for the Ann Arbor News.
    At the Graphic, Seth covers sports at the five local high schools and George Fox University. He lives in northeast Portland is an avid disc golfer in his free time.

 

   
    Managing editor Gary Allen is a Portland native with degrees in photography and journalism from Blue Mountain Community College and Oregon State University. He began his journalism career with freelance assignments at the Daily Journal of Commerce, the Canby Herald and The Oregonian, then was hired as a photojournalist at the Herald & News in Klamath Falls. He was hired in 1988 as design editor and photographer at The Newberg Graphic, becoming news editor in 1993 and managing editor in 2008. 
    His duties at the Graphic include coordinating coverage, photographing assignments, laying out and assembling pages, and writing editorials.
