The Portland-based band Rose in the Heather started out playing exclusively Celtic music and English folk songs, although it has since branched out to add some contemporary music to its repertoire. Some incarnation of the folk band Rose in the Heather has been playing the Portland metro area for nearly two decades, but this Friday will mark the first time its full lineup has visited Newberg.
