Portland-based puppeteer Sarah Frechette brings the story of Vermonter Wilson ‘Snowflake’ Bentley to life in her original, award-winning show, ‘The Snowflake Man,’ which makes its Newberg debut Jan. 17 at the Newberg Public Library.
The story of Wilson “Snowflake” Bentley, a Vermont man made famous by his high-quality photographs of the crystalline shapes of snowflakes taken in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, has been told in history books, children’s books, schools and museums across the country.
