The Yamhill County Board of Commissioners approved this month a new five-year agreement with Waste Management that is expected to significantly increase the amount the county receives each year for “hosting” Riverbend Landfill and provides an incentive for the county to hope Waste Management’s application to construct a berm around the landfill is approved this year.
