GFU’s Kelsey Morrison lags a long put to set up a par on No. 15 during the second round of match play at the Oregon Amateur Championship on Thursday at Tualatin Country Club. A Division III All-American, Morrison defeated the University of Washington’s Brittany Tallman 4-and-3 to advance to Friday’s quarterfinals.
TUALATIN – George Fox is certainly well-known in NCAA Division III golfing circles, but the Bruins came into the Oregon Amateur Championship very much under the radar this week.
