An all-star cast, featuring Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer and Helena Bonham, and notoriously outlandish director Tim Burton may seem like a great combination to bring cult classic series “Dark Shadows” to the big screen, but somehow — even in a day where vampires and werewolves are all the rage — the gothic comedy falls mostly flat.
