Newberg relishes experience despite losing all three of its opening matches

It was the final high school match for Brem, as he and his partner, Mike Peterson, drew a bye in the first round, making them ineligible for the consolation bracket despite playing just one match.
   BEAVERTON — Newberg head coach Dave Brown knows all too well that the tennis at the 6A state tournament hardly resembles the dual meets his and other teams across the state see in the regular season.
