Senior Mitch Lemos runs for a handful of his 106 rushing yards in his final game for Newberg, a 44-21 loss to David Douglas Saturday in a 6A play-in game in Portland. Lemos finished the season with 1,365 yards on the ground and nine touchdowns.
   PORTLAND — Sputtering in the second half while David Douglas revved up, Newberg saw its season end in a 6A play-in game for the third consecutive season as the Scots pulled away for a 44-21 victory Friday night.
