The neighbors like it —
Jack Toohey, 15, usually practices his bagpipes in his bedroom, but occasionally practices in his back yard — sometimes with his 16-year-old brother and fellow bagpiper, Ian, and his 13-year-old sister, Lauren, who plays the snare drum, one of the three instruments used in a bagpipe band.
Until last summer, Jack Toohey’s best experience as a bagpiper came at a cemetery when he was 13 years old.
