Cardinals tip the Tigers 8-5

A handful of defensive miscues leads to easy Lincoln goals as Newberg falls in the title game of its own tournament

   Newberg built upon each successive performance en route to a title-game matchup versus Lincoln, but a few key defensive lapses tipped the scales in favor of the Cardinals, who captured the Tigers’ tournament with an 8-5 victory Saturday night.
