After he left Newberg, Pastor Shawn Jones served at the Metro Church of Christ in Gresham, then spent 15 years as the academic dean of Cascade College in Northeast Portland.
After 21 years away from the Newberg Church of Christ, new minister Shawn Jones said he’s probably less rigid, more long-suffering and more realistic than when he left his associate minister position there in 1991.
