Contract negotiations begin anew for mill workers

Labor and industry — Georgia-based SP Fiber Technologies vows to bargain ‘in good faith’ with local union

   Negotiations are set to begin this week between the newly formed SP Fiber Technologies (SPFT) and the unionized employees at its Newberg paper mill, who are organized under a local branch of the Association of Western Pulp and Paper Workers (AWPPW).
