Improvisation central to 18th-century Italian play ‘Servant of Two Masters’

The GFU drama troupe staged a dress rehearsal Monday evening in preparation for Thursday’s opening of ‘Servant of Two Masters,’ a comedy written in 1743 by Venetian playwright Carlos Goldoni.
   A wise man once said, “No one can serve two masters.” And audience members at George Fox University’s Wood-Mar Auditorium may soon learn the truth of that statement, as the college presents its fall comedy, “Servant of Two Masters,” starting later this month.
