A house on Fulton Street, owned by George Fox University and last used as a residence for students, will be moved Nov. 4 to an empty lot at 1313 Ninth St. There it will join two yet-to-be-constructed homes and join the growing inventory of affordable housing constructed by the Newberg chapter of Habitat for Humanity. The lot where the house once stood will be used for sports adminstration offices in conjuction with GFU’s new football stadium.
The “Parade of The House” will start in the dim light of dawn Nov. 4.    There will be no bands, floats, horses, clowns or cars.
