Sophomore Lydia Hall powers a shot through a block during a 3-1 Veritas win over visiting Falls City Tuesday at Open Bible School. The Vanguard will play Willamette Valley Christian in the opening round of the Casco League district tournament Saturday at Jewell.
Veritas had already wrapped up fifth place in the Casco League and a spot in Saturday’s district tournament heading into the season finale versus visiting Falls City, but was still looking to build some momentum with a solid outing Tuesday at Open Bible School.
