$800,000 federal stimulus grant money finances safety, comfort upgrades for firefighters as well as a new entryway

   When it comes right down to it, it’s the firefighters at Newberg’s downtown station who will receive the direct benefit of the location’s four new air-filtration units, which were purchased as part of a nearly $810,000 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant, commonly known as President Obama’s stimulus plan.
