Senior Erin Sanders, a standout for the NHS tennis team, but a first-yearrunner, glides to a victory in her first-ever Pacific Conference meet on Wednesday in Forest Grove. Sanders set a new personal best with a time of 20:42 as the Tigers tipped the defending league champs 28-27.
FOREST GROVE – Newberg kicked off the Pacific Conference season with a bang on Wednesday, producing both individual race winners and upending defending league champion and host Forest Grove 27-28 in the girls event at the three-way meet versus the Vikings and Century.
