Technicians with Kennedy Restoration in Portland are working to erase the evidence of a fire that raged through the Critter Cabana in December. Also damaged were the First Street Yoga studio, located above the pet store, and the Newberg Music Center next door.
CARLTON — Brittani Johnson, co-owner of the Critter Cabana pet store, is standing before a class of 24 second-grade students at Yamhill-Carlton Elementary School, listening as, one by one, they explain how they spent the past two weeks coordinating a penny drive to raise money for the company’s fire-damaged flagship location in Newberg.
