Lake Oswego artist Scott Hoyle retired from his career as a professional illustrator eight years ago to focus on his passions of painting and photography. Since then, his work — like this black-and-white photo of a barn outside Fossil, Ore. — has garnered numerous accolades and awards.
   Lake Oswego fine artist and photographer Scott Hoyle has a “zest for life.” A professional illustrator and graphic designer for more than 30 years, Hoyle said he has nurtured a passion for art since his childhood, but he gained a new perspective eight years ago, when he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
