Below is a list of the best performances on the Westside baseball and softball diamonds last week:

Softball

  • Amy Rusin, Tina Padilla and Addison Riedel of Beaverton combined to go 9-for-14 with three home runs, three doubles, 10 RBI and seven runs scored in a win over Liberty
  • Alyssa Loza of Century went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored, along with allowing just three hits and striking out 16 in seven innings in the circle
  • McKenna Proffitt of Newberg went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored, while allowing just two hits and striking out six in five shutout innings versus North Salem.
  • Madelyn Hancock of St. Helens went 2-for-4 with two triples, six RBI and four runs scored in a win over Centennial.
  • Sophia Bloyd of Scappoose went 3-for-3 with two doubles, four RBI and two runs scored in a win over The Dalles.
  • Presley Sarono-Ramos of Sherwood went 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI, while allowing one hit and striking out four in four shutout innings against Mountainside.

Baseball

  • Cole Newton for Tualatin allowed one earned run on four hits, while striking out nine and walking one in six innings in a win over Sandy.
  • Lucas Van Dyke and Kevin Carrieri of Forest Grove combined to allow one earned run while striking out nine and walking two in a win over Putnam.
  • August Ware of Glencoe went 3-for-4, while allowing two earned runs and striking out 14 in five innings against Hillsboro.
  • Kruz Schoolcraft of Sunset went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and run scored, while striking out eight in three innings of work on the mound in a loss to Ridgeview.
  • Wyatt Pringle of Westside Christian went 4-for-5 with a triple, double, four RBI and two runs scored in win over Western Christian.
  • Landon Brown of Sherwood went 3-for-4 with four RBI, and allowed one earned run while striking out 10 in a win over McDaniel.
  • Quinton Olson of Scappoose went 3-for-3 with a double, RBI and four runs scored in a win over Warrenton.
